Enver Creek Library Learning Commons:
Connecting People with Ideas and Information
The Enver Creek Library is a flexible presentation and teaching space, open weekdays 8:15-3:30.
The EC Library is here to assist students and teachers with:
- Teaching student research skills
- Thinking critically about information
- Navigating print and online resources
- Gathering resources to support the curriculum
- Providing collaboration and communication opportunities
- Encouraging a love of reading and literacy development.
Digital access to virtual resources (district purchased databases, online news and magazines, eBooks, video streaming, audiobooks) and learning supports, can be accessed through the library website envercreeklibrary.com or by Googling "SD36 Digital Resources"
At home database use requires a password (see Librarian)
We offer book choices to engage every reader:
- An extensive fiction collection includes classics, picture books, graphic novels, and English language learner materials.
- Non-fiction print materials for research topics and personal interest (reference, biographies/memoirs)
- A Professional Teacher Resource Library.
Free student printing, scanning and copying is available using a USB/Flashdrive.
YA student book club runs Oct – May.
Student volunteer opportunities available at lunch and after school.
